Arizona Opera

Since its' beginning in 1971, the Arizona Opera has made Tucson its' home.  It has grown in performances and support throughout the years and now has fully staffed offices in Tucson and Phoenix with a subscriber base of over 10,000.

Ballet Arizona

Founded in 1986, Ballet Arizona is one of Arizona's largest performing-arts companies. One of it's annual performances, The Nutcracker is performed at Symphony Hall.

Childsplay

A theatre for young audiences and families..... The theatre was founded and organized in 1977 by artistic director David Saar, and performed its' first play, Sense and Nonsense.  In 2001, the theatre received the Arizona Governor's Arts Award for Arts-in-Education.  

Heard Museum

USA Today describes the Heard Museum as "the nation's most prestigious private Indian arts center."   It's origin goes back to 1929 when Dwight and Maie Heard founded the museum to house their collection of cultural and fine art.

The Phoenix Symphony

The 75 member Phoenix Symphony offers a wide range of musical presentation, including Classics, Symphony  Pops, Chamber Orchestra, and Family oriented presentations.  The Symphony was founded in 1947 and participates in over 250 concerts and presentations per year.

Phoenix Art Museum

The museum opened in 1959 and currently hosts over 17,000 works of American, Asian, European, Latin American, modern and contemporary, and Western American art in a 160,000 sq.ft. building.  A $42.1 million expansion of scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2006.
